Ammar Rafie is the Managing Director of Al-Behar Chemicals, pioneering the company’s journey towards sustainable growth and reshaping the chemicals industry in the region. Ammar’s robust and vast technical knowledge in the chemicals industry and his dedication to operational excellence to forge the foundations and pave the way for growth for one of the group’s most dynamic businesses.

Ammar’s dedication to sustainability and quality assurance has left a lasting impact on the way the company operates, closely overseeing numerous sustainability-driven initiatives and leading the company’s ESG program.

He  obtained his bacherlor’s degree from California State University, Chico in Industrial Technology , 1984 ; Masters degree/ MBA (distinction) from NYIT, 2001.

Beyond his expertise, Ammar practiced martial arts; Okinawan shorin Ryo from 1989 to 2018 in addition to horse back riding.
